This bill, known as the "No Loan Forgiveness for Terrorists Act of 2025," proposes to modify the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program by explicitly excluding organizations that engage in activities with a substantial illegal purpose from qualifying as a public service job. The modifications aim to prevent individuals working for organizations deemed to be engaging in illegal activities from receiving federal student loan forgiveness through the PSLF program, effectively using the loan forgiveness benefit as a mechanism to discourage participation in organizations that the bill considers to be acting outside the law or against public interest.
