The group is authorized to engage in foreign travel for official purposes, will receive administrative support from the Senate's Office of Interparliamentary Services, and can use foreign currency funds for critical activities. The group is required to submit an annual report to Senate leadership and the Foreign Relations Committee detailing its activities, including travel, legislative efforts, and public diplomacy initiatives. This bill aims to create a dedicated mechanism for Senate oversight and engagement with NATO-related matters.
