The assessment is meant to support women's proactive health management by expanding data collection and promoting awareness of fertility awareness methods (FAMs), lifestyle adjustments, and medical treatments that can support natural conception and healthy pregnancies. Additionally, the resolution directs that a copy of the resolution be transmitted to the secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health and the executive director of the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.
