AI Summary
This bill amends Section 1732-E of The Fiscal Code to provide specific guidelines for appropriations from the Motor License Fund for the Department of Transportation. The bill removes the "(Reserved)" designation and adds language that allows the Secretary of Transportation to allocate funds for two specific highway and safety improvement projects identified in the Highway Capital Budget Project Itemization Act of 2014-2015. Specifically, the bill authorizes the Secretary to determine the amount of money to be used for projects listed in sections 339(12) and 339(22) of that act. The changes appear to provide more explicit direction for how transportation funds can be allocated, giving the Secretary of Transportation some discretion in funding specific infrastructure and safety projects. The bill takes effect immediately upon enactment.
