This bill, titled the "America the Beautiful Motorcycle Fairness Act," aims to clarify how the "America the Beautiful" interagency pass, which allows access to federal recreational lands and waters, applies to motorcycles. Currently, the pass covers the passholder and accompanying passengers in a single private vehicle. This legislation amends the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act to explicitly state that if the pass is used for a motorcycle, it will cover the passholder and any passengers on that motorcycle, as well as one additional motorcycle and its passengers accompanying the passholder. This change ensures that motorcycle riders receive comparable benefits to those in cars when using the pass.
