This resolution establishes an advisory working group to make recommendations about adding relief portraits of women to the Hall of the House of Representatives. The working group will consist of key House officials, including the Clerk of the House, the House Curator, the Curator for the Architect of the Capitol, chairs and ranking members of specific committees, and co-chairs of the Congressional Bipartisan Women's Caucus. The group's primary responsibility is to submit a written report to the Speaker, Minority Leader, and Committee on House Administration, which will include recommendations for: two women whose portraits would be suitable for inclusion among existing lawgiver relief portraits, the planning and funding of these portraits, potential installation details (including whether existing portraits might be replaced), and a timeline for installation that minimizes disruption to House business. The working group is required to consult with scholars in law, women's history, and Library of Congress staff, and must submit their report within one year of the resolution's adoption or by the end of the 119th Congress, whichever comes first. Two members of the group will be designated to coordinate the efforts, subject to approval by the Speaker and Minority Leader.
