This bill transfers administrative jurisdiction over certain federal lands in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, involving approximately 25 acres from the Secretary of the Interior to the Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection for use by their Advanced Training Center, with this land being excluded from the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. Conversely, approximately 71.51 acres of federal land are transferred from U.S. Customs and Border Protection back to the Secretary of the Interior to be administered as part of the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. These transfers are to occur without any monetary reimbursement or additional consideration, and the Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection is responsible for obtaining a survey to finalize the exact description of the land being transferred to them, with the cost of this survey to be covered by their appropriations. Importantly, if the land transferred to U.S. Customs and Border Protection is no longer needed for their training center, it will revert back to the Secretary of the Interior to be included within the historical park, and a specific acreage limitation related to the park's boundary will not apply to this reversion.
