Within 18 months of the bill's enactment, the Comptroller General must submit a detailed report on these findings to the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure and the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, with the ultimate goal of recommending ways to promote more efficient use of federal, state, and local funds in transit bus procurement.
