This bill, called the "Stop Anarchists From Endangering Cities Act" or "SAFE Cities Act", directs the Attorney General to create and regularly update a list of "anarchist jurisdictions", which are defined as states or local governments that have failed to take reasonable steps to stop violence and property destruction. The bill requires the Attorney General, in consultation with the Secretary of Homeland Security and the Director of Management and Budget, to publish this list within 14 days of the act's enactment and update it at least every 180 days.
