AI Summary

This bill amends the Fiscal Code to enhance transparency requirements for the Sports, Marketing and Tourism Account by mandating detailed public reporting of hospitality-related expenses. Specifically, the bill requires the department to create and maintain a monthly updated online log detailing hospitality events that are not generally available to the public for free. The log must include comprehensive information about each recipient, such as their full name, residential address, employer details, work title, event specifics, date of hospitality, a description of the hospitality, its estimated value, and the reason for the department's invitation. This new requirement aims to provide greater public accountability by making granular information about government-sponsored hospitality events easily accessible through the department's website. The bill will take effect 60 days after its enactment, giving the department time to implement the new reporting system.
