This bill establishes the New York Jewish Heritage Education Equity Act, which creates a comprehensive process to evaluate and improve Jewish heritage education in the state's schools. The committee is required to submit their recommendations within two years of the section's effective date and will then be disbanded. Committee members will not be compensated but will be reimbursed for necessary expenses.
