This resolution honors the life and memory of Domingo T. Orozco, a Texas City resident who passed away on August 8, 2025, at age 77. Born on December 14, 1947, to Valentin and Carmen Orozco, he was a U.S. Army veteran who served as a medical technician during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Soldier's Medal in 1968. After his military service, Orozco worked as a project manager and director in Massachusetts, was involved in soccer coaching, and later became active in the Texas City-La Marque Chamber of Commerce. He was the father of two daughters, Deborah and Elizabeth, and grandfather to four grandchildren. The resolution acknowledges his military service, professional achievements, community involvement, and personal contributions, and formally pays tribute to his memory by extending condolences to his family and friends.
