The victims ranged in age from 28 to 77 and included Esther Chung, Derwin Anderson, Martha De La Torre Rangel, her son Josue Pina De La Torre, Victor Manuel Macias Castro, Rudy Garza, Cristine Gonzalez, Stevie Richards, Andrew Sanchez, Matthew Tufono, Brett Riley, Carlos Valdez III, and Roseann Cobb. The resolution highlights the community's resilience and unity in responding to the tragedy, with first responders and volunteers from the San Antonio Fire and Police Departments and Texas A&M Task Force 1 conducting extensive rescue operations, and emphasizes the ongoing commitment of state lawmakers and community leaders to honor the victims' memories and prevent similar disasters in the future.
