This bill establishes a special sick leave bank for Emily Coollick, an employee of a state department, through MassAbility. The bill allows other employees of the department to voluntarily donate one or more of their sick, personal, or vacation days to create a dedicated leave bank for Coollick to use during a specific illness or disability. The donated sick leave can only be used for absences directly related to the medical condition that prompted the bank's creation. If Coollick either leaves her job or requests the bank to be dissolved, any remaining days in the sick leave bank will be transferred to an extended illness leave bank.
