The bill also specifies that individuals holding a Class 1B license will be considered to have a Class 2B license, and it outlines specific requirements for obtaining a Class 6B license, including knowledge of federal nuclear boiler regulations and employment with a company holding an applicable ASME nuclear code symbol. Furthermore, it clarifies that individuals must be licensed under these new provisions to install or alter boilers, or work under the direct supervision of someone who is, and it allows the department to consolidate these licenses by rule in the future.
