This bill amends the Michigan Open Meetings Act to expand the circumstances under which public bodies can hold remote or electronic meetings. Licensing boards are defined as bodies responsible for determining qualifications or issuing credentials in occupations, such as those established under the public health code, occupational code, and skilled trades regulation act. However, members of licensing boards participating electronically are prohibited from voting on rule-processing issues.
