This bill authorizes the Boston Retirement Board to provide a special disability pension to Patricia M. Lampron, a retired head of school at the Dr. William W. Henderson K-12 Inclusion School, who was permanently injured while performing her duties on November 3, 2021. The bill allows her to receive a pension equal to 100 percent of her potential annual salary at the time of her injury, which will be non-taxable to the extent permitted by law. Additionally, the bill requires the Boston Retirement Board to provide full indemnification for all hospital, medical, and related expenses incurred as a result of her work-related injuries, and mandates that the board pay her the accumulated total deductions from her annuity savings fund.
