The resolution honors his life achievements, his contributions to the Irish-American community, and his legacy as a devoted family man, survived by his wife Bridget, two children Sean and Eileen, and eight grandchildren. The legislative body pauses to recognize Bermingham's distinguished citizenship and community service, and will transmit an official, engrossed copy of the resolution to his family as a formal tribute.
