This resolution commends and congratulates the Summerlin South Little League baseball team for winning the 2025 Little League World Series United States Championship, a significant achievement in youth baseball. The team defeated Fairfield National Little League 8-2 and became the first team from Summerlin South to advance to the Little League World Series Tournament in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, as well as only the second team from Nevada to win the United States Championship since the state began competing in 1957.
