This bill directs the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to create a new specialty license plate featuring the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The plate will display "Florida" at the top and "UFC Lives Here" at the bottom, with colors and design approved by the department. The annual fees generated from sales of this plate will be distributed to the UFC Foundation, a nonprofit organization recognized under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The foundation can use up to 10 percent of the proceeds for plate promotion and marketing, while the remaining funds must support charitable causes in Florida, such as children's hospitals, first responder and military support programs, youth advocacy, and youth mentorship initiatives in partnership with local law enforcement agencies. The bill will take effect on October 1, 2026, providing a new option for Florida vehicle owners to support community-focused programs through their license plate selection.
