The resolution highlights her deep community involvement, including service with the Maywood Charter VFW and American Legion Women's Auxiliary, and her passion for sports, particularly her enthusiasm for the Chicago Bulls, Cubs, and Bears. Rosa is noted as a proud grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of seven, many of whom attended schools in Illinois's 7th District.
