This bill modifies existing law regarding environmental repair fees collected by municipal solid waste facilities. The environmental repair fee is a charge collected by licensed solid or hazardous waste disposal facilities from those who generate or arrange for the disposal of waste, and it is typically paid to the state department based on the amount of waste received.
