This bill, the Armed Forces Pay Act of 2025, provides continuing appropriations for military pay and for civilian employees of certain intelligence agencies in the event of a government shutdown for fiscal year 2026. * **Military Pay and Allowances:** Such sums as are necessary to provide pay and allowances to members of the Armed Forces, including reserve components, will be appropriated from the Treasury. * **Civilian Intelligence Employee Pay and Allowances:** Such sums as are necessary to provide pay and allowances to civilian employees of the Department of Defense, the Coast Guard, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and the Central Intelligence Agency will be appropriated from the Treasury. * **Funding Termination:** The appropriations and authority granted by this Act will remain available until the earlier of: the enactment of regular or continuing appropriations for fiscal year 2026, the enactment of an appropriation for the specific purposes covered by this Act, or September 30, 2026. * **Intelligence Activities Authorization:** Funds appropriated for intelligence activities are deemed specifically authorized by Congress for fiscal year 2026 until the enactment of the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026.
