Additionally, the bill provides legal immunity for a registered consortium that receives, shares, and publishes information about suspected fraudulent or unlawful robocalls, and allows the FCC to publish and take enforcement actions against voice service providers found to originate substantial amounts of illegal calls. The taskforce will terminate 90 days after submitting its report to Congress, and the bill aims to strengthen existing efforts to reduce unwanted and illegal telephone calls from both domestic and international sources.
