AI Summary

This bill establishes comprehensive legal protections for reproductive health care services in New Hampshire, creating a new legal framework to shield both providers and patients from out-of-state legal actions related to reproductive healthcare. The bill defines "reproductive health care" broadly to include a wide range of medical services related to pregnancy, contraception, and pregnancy termination, and establishes a fundamental right for individuals in the state to access such services. It prohibits state agencies, officials, and professional licensing boards from cooperating with out-of-state investigations into legally protected reproductive health care activities, prevents medical malpractice insurers from discriminating against providers based on reproductive health services, and allows individuals to sue for damages if they face abusive litigation related to reproductive health care. The bill also restricts the enforcement of foreign judgments concerning reproductive health care and limits extradition requests for individuals involved in legally protected reproductive health care activities. Importantly, the law explicitly states that any attempts to interfere with or prosecute legally protected reproductive health care services will be considered a violation of New Hampshire's public policy, providing robust legal protections for both healthcare providers and patients seeking reproductive health services.
