The bill also allows for electronic voting, including approving meeting minutes via email or video conferencing, and mandates that associations provide access information and take reasonable measures to ensure unit owners can hear proceedings and ask questions during remote meetings. Additionally, the bill updates provisions for voting without a physical meeting, allows for electronic versions of ballots and tally sheets, and ensures that budget adoption and special assessment processes can also be conducted electronically. The changes aim to provide more flexibility for condominium associations in conducting their business, particularly in situations where in-person meetings might be challenging. The bill will take effect 60 days after its passage.
