This bill modifies provisions related to how the Highway Patrol purchases and maintains its vehicles, watercraft, and aircraft by creating a new fund called the "Highway Patrol's Motor Vehicle, Aircraft, and Watercraft Revolving Fund." This fund will be managed by the superintendent of the Highway Patrol and will receive money from various sources, including reimbursements for vehicle use, damage to vehicles, and services provided to other government agencies. The money in this fund can be used for purchasing and maintaining these assets, as well as for operational costs.
