This bill creates the "Food is Medicine Act" which directs the Missouri Department of Social Services to apply for a federal demonstration waiver to implement a nutrition support program through MO HealthNet (Missouri's Medicaid program). Specifically, the nutrition services may include case management, nutrition counseling, meal or pantry provisions, nutrition prescriptions, and grocery support.
