This bill requires the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) to develop a comprehensive strategy within 60 days of enactment focused on improving intelligence coordination and information sharing specifically related to critical and emerging technologies. The strategy must outline how intelligence agencies will coordinate the collection, processing, analysis, and dissemination of foreign intelligence about these technologies across the intelligence community. Additionally, the strategy must detail how this intelligence will be appropriately shared with other federal departments and agencies that have responsibilities in areas such as regulation, innovation, research, science, public health, export control, screenings, and federal financial tools. Within 30 days of developing this strategy, the DNI must submit a copy of the document to congressional intelligence committees. The bill uses standard definitions of "congressional intelligence committees" and "intelligence community" as defined in the National Security Act of 1947, ensuring consistency with existing legal frameworks.
