AI Summary

This bill allows retired sworn law-enforcement officers and registered special conservators of the peace to swear to or affirm certificates for the enforcement of violations captured by traffic light signal violation monitoring systems, traffic control device violation monitoring systems, or photo speed monitoring devices, provided they complete a training course developed and approved by the Department of Criminal Justice Services. The Department of Criminal Justice Services is required to create and make this training available by July 1, 2027, and active law-enforcement officers who swear to these certificates must also complete this training.
