This bill amends the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations act to redirect a $500,000 state aid allocation originally designated for the City of Camden's Capital Projects to Parkside Business & Community in Partnership, a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Specifically, the bill removes the $500,000 line item for Camden's capital projects from the Department of Community Affairs' Local Government Services budget and adds an equivalent $500,000 grant-in-aid line item for Parkside Business & Community in Partnership under the Community Resources section. Consequently, the total state aid and grants-in-aid appropriations are adjusted slightly to reflect this reallocation, with the total state aid amount decreasing from $945,063,000 to $944,563,000 and the grants-in-aid amount increasing from $87,750,000 to $88,250,000. The bill would take effect immediately upon enactment.
