This bill amends existing law to require that meetings of a public infrastructure district's board, which is a governing body responsible for managing public infrastructure projects within a designated area, must be held within the district's boundaries, unless specific exceptions apply. These exceptions include situations where no suitable location exists within the district to accommodate attendees and the board, or if the chosen location is nearby, or if it's impractical to hold the meeting within the district due to emergencies, or if the meeting is held within the boundaries of the entity that created the district. The bill also removes an outdated provision that allowed for off-site retreats under certain conditions.
