This bill establishes a federal grant program to help states, territories, and Native American tribes address contamination by PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) on agricultural lands. To receive a grant, eligible governments must demonstrate unsafe levels of PFAS in soil or water used for agricultural production and submit an application with a detailed plan for administering the funds. The bill ensures that at least 30% of annual funding will go to governments with populations under 3 million, and recipients must submit annual reports detailing grant usage and identified agricultural needs.
