This bill, known as the Administrative Report Consolidation Act, establishes an Administrative Report Consolidation Board tasked with reviewing and streamlining reporting requirements for public school districts and technology center school districts in Oklahoma. The Board, composed of eleven members appointed by the President Pro Tempore of the Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the Governor, will aim to eliminate redundant or outdated reports, consolidate necessary ones, and make recommendations to the legislature. The Board will also develop a plan for ongoing review of these reporting mandates. The State Department of Education and the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education will provide staff support, and the Board is required to submit its initial findings and recommendations, including a proposal to limit annual reports to no more than ten for each type of district, by August 1, 2027, with the possibility of further reports in subsequent years. The act will take effect on July 1, 2026, and is declared an emergency measure.
