This bill, titled the Military Air Traffic Control Transition Act, amends the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024 to enhance the work of the joint aviation employment training working group. The bill also mandates that the working group identify barriers to hiring these specialists, including issues with training, terminology, systems, and technology, and to improve how military credentials, experience, and training are recognized for civilian employment within the Federal Aviation Administration's Air Traffic Organization. Furthermore, it aims to standardize military air traffic control credentials and ensure service members with these qualifications obtain equivalent Federal Aviation Administration credentials before leaving the military.
