This bill, titled the "Producing Real Opportunities for Technology and Entrepreneurs Investing in Nutrition Act," aims to bolster the United States' capacity in alternative protein innovation by directing the Secretary of Agriculture to establish at least three "centers of excellence" focused on food and agriculture innovation, with at least one led by an 1890 Institution (historically Black colleges and universities and other minority-serving institutions).
