This bill, titled the "Honoring Family-Friendly Workplaces Act," directs the Secretary of Labor to establish a national certification program to recognize employers who demonstrate a commitment to helping their employees balance work and family responsibilities. To qualify for this "family-friendly certification," employers must implement specific policies and benefits, including providing assistance or referrals for fertility or adoption services, offering at least 12 weeks of paid family leave annually for reasons such as childbirth, adoption, foster care placement, serious personal or family health conditions (including pregnancy-related issues), and military caregiving needs.
