Furthermore, when a vote-by-mail ballot is requested, supervisors of elections will verify the voter's address, citizenship, and the status of their Florida identification card with the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, requiring updates or proof of citizenship if discrepancies are found. Finally, Florida driver's licenses and identification cards issued to noncitizens will be marked with "NC" to denote their status.
