This bill makes several changes to Indiana law concerning grain shortages, claims, and payments. It allows the inspector general to receive complaints about violations of the Indiana grain buyers and warehouse licensing and bonding law by the director of that agency. The bill also reorganizes the existing statute regarding grain shortages, claims, and payments, and requires that certain notices be included in contracts for the purchase of grain. Additionally, it mandates that an administrative law judge award reasonable attorney's fees to a claimant in specific administrative cases. Finally, the bill includes conforming and technical corrections to the law.
