This bill modifies California's laws regarding driving under the influence (DUI) offenses, primarily by adjusting penalties and requirements based on the number of prior DUI convictions. The bill also introduces a new offense, Section 23550.1, for those with four or more prior DUI convictions, and makes conforming changes to various sections of the Vehicle Code, Penal Code, and Insurance Code to reflect these adjustments.
