This bill amends the Campground Licensing and Recreational Area Act by changing the definition of "campground" to require that space be provided for camping, temporary parking of recreational vehicles, or placing shelters for 10 or more persons for 10 or more camping days during a calendar year, an increase from the previous requirement of 6 or more camping days. A "camping day" is defined as any 24-hour period or portion thereof during which participants remain overnight at the site. The Act, administered by the Illinois Department of Public Health, aims to regulate recreational areas used for camping.
