This bill extends the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact, which allows licensed audiologists and speech-language pathologists to practice in multiple states under a unified system, until June 30, 2034, by amending Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4, Chapter 29 and Title 63, Chapter 17, and it also removes a specific subdivision from existing law related to the termination of governmental entities and adds a new section that establishes June 30, 2034, as the termination date for the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact and any other state government entities created in 2032, while also allowing for their continuation or reestablishment.
