This resolution, passed by the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, formally adjourns the House in honor and loving memory of the victims of United Parcel Service (UPS) Airlines Flight 2976, which tragically crashed on November 4, 2025, after an engine separation during takeoff from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, resulting in the deaths of 15 people, including the flight crew, and injuries to 22 others on the ground. The resolution also commends the extensive efforts of numerous first responders and various agencies, including fire departments from multiple jurisdictions, law enforcement agencies, emergency medical services, and other governmental and private entities, who worked tirelessly to secure the crash site, extinguish fires, search for victims, and provide care. The House expresses its solidarity with Representative Lisa Wilner in remembering the victims, praying for comfort for their families and the injured, and recognizing the overwhelming desire to help demonstrated by the community and responding agencies in the face of this devastating incident.
