The bill also clarifies definitions related to federal guidance letters and establishes that the Federalism Commission, or "Commission," is a defined term. Furthermore, it allows the Commission to coordinate with other entities, develop curriculum on federalism, and manage trademarks related to federalism initiatives, while also requiring executive branch agencies to designate contacts to assist the Commission in assessing federal jurisdiction. The bill also mandates that the Attorney General register and protect trademarks associated with national federalism initiatives and specifies an effective date of May 6, 2026.
