This bill establishes new reporting requirements for medical professionals who perform gender transition procedures in Indiana, effective July 1, 2026. Practitioners, defined as individuals licensed under Indiana Code Chapter 25-1-9, will be required to report quarterly to their respective licensing boards on the gender transition procedures they perform. These reports must include the county where the procedure took place and the specific type of procedure, but will not contain any personally identifiable patient information. The licensing boards will then compile these reports quarterly and submit them to the professional licensing agency, which will, in turn, create an annual report by March 1st of each year. This annual report will be sorted by county and procedure type and will be made publicly available on the agency's website and submitted to the Indiana General Assembly in an electronic format.
