This bill, effective July 1, 2026, introduces several changes to transaction matters in Indiana. Finally, it prohibits notaries public from performing notarial acts for a transaction if they have a direct interest in it or are an officer, director, manager, or agent of a party involved in the transaction, aiming to prevent conflicts of interest.
