The bill also expands the definition of a "human trafficking offense" to include aggravated exploitation of prostitution, allowing victims to bring civil lawsuits for damages within 10 years of being freed from the situation or reaching adulthood, with provisions for tolling the statute of limitations under certain circumstances, and grants the Attorney General the authority to bring actions to prevent human trafficking offenses.
