This concurrent resolution continues the work of the previous Air Mobility and Aviation Economic Development Task Force by establishing a new Aviation Economic Development Task Force. This task force, composed of four members from the House of Representatives and four from the Senate, will study and make recommendations on aviation innovations, particularly in the area of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), which refers to future aviation systems for transporting people and goods, and will focus on how to attract aviation-related economic development to Kentucky, address infrastructure needs, and support the growth of the aviation industry. The task force is directed to meet at least four times during the 2026 Interim and submit its findings and recommendations to the Legislative Research Commission by December 1, 2026, with the Legislative Research Commission having the authority to assign these issues to other committees or adjust the study completion date.
