The purpose of this review is to verify that these approved requests were processed correctly and according to the relevant rules and standards. Furthermore, the Director must provide an in-person briefing on the review's findings to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees by September 15, 2026, and also make a public report of these findings available online by the same date.
