This bill modifies two existing Oklahoma statutes. First, it amends Section 585 of Title 47, which deals with the denial, suspension, or revocation of motor vehicle licenses, by increasing the maximum administrative fine for knowingly or willfully making false statements on applications or licenses from $1,000 to $10,000. Second, it amends Section 3601.1 of Title 74, which sets the maximum number of full-time-equivalent employees for various state agencies. Specifically, it increases the employee limit for the Oklahoma New Motor Vehicle Commission from 6 to 12 and for the Oklahoma Used Motor Vehicle, Dismantler, and Manufactured Housing Commission from 15 to 18. The bill also specifies an effective date of November 1, 2026.
